Meat Pie
Meat pie is a pastry, which is stuffed with meat and very similar to empanadas, which is eaten by Latin Americans. I love to make them because my wife absolutely loves them and I know it always puts a smile on her face.

Cool, these remind me of Jamaican beef patties. I’ll have to try your version, sounds tasty.

These look delicious. We like Jamaican meat patties, so these would be great too. Homemade is always great. Perfect to make a big batch an tuck some in the freezer for later.

    1. Fred Nonterah

Yes Gloria, they’re similar to Jamaican patties. My theory is that when our ancestors moved to the Caribbean they transitioned the met pie into patties :). Thanks for stopping by Gloria!
