Meat pie is a pastry, which is stuffed with meat and very similar to empanadas, which is eaten by Latin Americans. I love to make them because my wife absolutely loves them and I know it always puts a smile on her face.

Instructions
  1. For the dough, Combine your flour, butter, stock, salt and water in a large bowl until, mix and knead it until a dough forms.
  2. With the filling, in a frying pan heat your oil for 3 minutes and fry you onions until they are tender and then add the fresh tomatoes and cook it for another 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the meat and let it cook for another 10 minutes.
  4. After the filling is done, lightly flour a surface and roll the dough with a rolling pin.
  5. Cut a piece of the dough into a square or circle, you can choose to make it large or small.
  6. Add some meat to each pie and fold in half and seal it. Use a fork to seal the edges so the meat does not fall out.
  7. Quote each one with egg white
  8. Place the meat pies in a buttered baking pan and put it in a pre-heated oven at 375 degrees Fahrenheit
  9. Let it bake for about 25 minutes and your meat pie is ready!
